Indoor Archery

During the cold winter months we shoot in a school hall at Copthorne Preparatory School (Effingham Lane, Crawley RH10 3HR.)

Shooting a range of indoor rounds including FITA’s & Portsmouth we shoot on a Wednesday evening from 20:00 until 22:00.

All members shooting should try to help set up and then put away at the start and end of the evening.

Please aim to arrive around 7:30pm to start shooting promptly at 8:00pm.

The hall is large enough for nine targets at a distance of 25 meters. The indoor season starts September and finishes in March. Click here for map.

Please note: The indoor hall can be cold, so please bring layers in order to keep warm.

Hazelwick – etiquette

The club would remind/ask that all archers attending Hazelwick help set up and take down targets, and please talk to your fellow archers about what (distances) to set up so that everyone can enjoy themselves, and to ensure that no one is left with lots of targets to put away (ideally if only two people left, there should only be two targets to put away).

For all members our Hazelwick etiquette can be read in full via our PDF.

We operate a strict NO ALL CARBON ARROW policy – and all lost arrows must be found or reported. The field is used for Rugby – so it is imperative arrows are not left in the ground as serious harm could be caused.

Members, please note: The tractor at our Hazelwick ground must only be driven by members who have been authorised to drive it. They do so at their own risk. No one is allowed to ride on the trailer at any time. Please be safe.
